Trying to clear some more yarns so I use them to make a simple pouch while waiting for my daughter to finish her classes.
I decided to add the trimming and added a flower on the front flap to dress it up a little.
My daughter wanted it, so thought adding a zipper will be better for her as she usual keep coins in her pouches. Decided to also sew in the lining with a slot to keep her School Concession Pass as well as adding on a magetic button to the front flap.
I also hand sewed a long strap with lobster cramp. She can attach it and can sling it if she wants.
I found some remaining yarn left from my Crochet Bucket Bag and decided to clear it.
I did it while waiting for my daughter to finish her enrichment class. There's not pattern to follow. It just take shape as I work on it. I'm keeping it to be given away as a present for friends. :)
Something sweet for a even sweeter P5 student who was assigned to buddy my daughter during the first 4 days of school. She not only helped and guided my daughter during recess, she even brought her around the school when time permits.
I noticed she had long hair so I made a hair-tie for her. Hope she likes it.
I used some left over yarn to make more hearts and tread a ribbon at the top so the heart could be hang up. I was thinking using it for some home deco project. However, my daughter insist on giving them to her enrichment teachers on her last day there.
I did crochet heart by trial and error and was really glad it turn out well on my second trial. I have not decided what to do with it yet and is keeping it for further use.
A simple crochet strawberry and a seemly strawberry flower with a crystal in the middle. I did not have a suitable colour for the flower, hence I used x-stitch thread (the closest I have) for it instead. I attached a hooked to the top so it can be used as a charm.
I did a simple rose using 2 different yarns. I sew a pin behind so it can be used as an accessory.
Another crochet rose I did to use as a hairtie. This time, I made it to look like a rose that is in full bloom.
I did a crochet rose and sew and hairtie to the back. Using the crochet rose as a brooch would be nice too.
A hand sewn coin purse using my daughter old dress. It is fully lined. I inserted 2 flexi metal for the opening and sew a crochet flower on it.
I made another crochet flower using some leftover cotton yarns. It is sewn to a hairtie here with a fabric covered button in the middle.
Crochet bucket bag. It has a narrow top opening with a flap. I made 3 flowers from the remaining yarn and sew it to the side of the bag.
