Crochet Zipper Pouch

Trying to clear some more yarns so I use them to make a simple pouch while waiting for my daughter to finish her classes.

I decided to add the trimming and added a flower on the front flap to dress it up a little.
My daughter wanted it, so thought adding a zipper will be better for her as she usual keep coins in her pouches. Decided to also sew in the lining with a slot to keep her School Concession Pass as well as adding on a magetic button to the front flap.
I also hand sewed a long strap with lobster cramp. She can attach it and can sling it if she wants.

Crochet Pull-string Pouch

I found some remaining yarn left from my Crochet Bucket Bag and decided to clear it.

I did it while waiting for my daughter to finish her enrichment class. There's not pattern to follow. It just take shape as I work on it. I'm keeping it to be given away as a present for friends. :)

Paper String Basket with Lining

I tried my hands at weaving a basket.

Material used is made of 12 paper string sticking together; bought from Daiso. You can cut or tear according to the thickness you want. There's a instruction that comes with it, however in Japanese. I didn't follow according to the illustration provided and did the basket my own way.

The end product is not perfect but it will do for a first timer. However, I did find the inside of the basket really ugly. Hence, I did a lining for it to cover the ugliness up.

A roll of this weaving band can make a basket slightly bigger than what I did as I still have some leftover after finishing the basket.

Mini Chest of Drawers

I made this Mini Chest of Drawers from wooden crates.

You just need to get wooden crates of 2 sizes and make sure the smaller one fits into the bigger one. You will also need something as the handle so you can pull out the 'drawer'. I used a wooden clothes peg. Glue it on and that's one. Simple as that.

The rest of the decoration is up to your imagination. For the time being, I'm leaving my chest of drawers as it is till I have time to work further on it.
