Watch Strap

I have a vintage watch which belongs to my late grandma. The leather strap that comes with it was worn out and broke. I haven't been able to get a replace for it. Hence, I made one with Velcro to make it easy to put on.

Lacy Demin

Sometime back I bought a dress that was too long for me. I removed a section of it so I could wear it. I kept the remaining part and used a bit of it to made these hair accessories.

The rest of it was used to make this 2-way wear for my daughter. I sew the lacy on the top to the back so it won't fall off.

Camouflage Case

An overdue project for my son. A full lined pencil case using my son's favourite print.

Jeans Tote

I shortened my pair of jeans to turn it into a pair of shorts. I used the 'legs' to made this. Fully made using the sewing machine without lining.

Forest Tote

A semi hand sewn tote. It will looked a lot better if it was fully hand sewn as I have no idea how to use my first sewing machine. :P Only used the sewing machine on the top part of the tote. Even a straight line seems so difficult. Tote is lined and attached with a magnetic button.

Cork Board Magnet

I recycled my cork board material placemat to make this. I glued 3 thin pieces of the placemat together to make it thicker. I also glued a piece of magnet sheet to the back so it can stick on metal surface and glued ribbon around the edge to make it looks neater. This measures L12cm x W6cm x D1cm.

IKEA Hack - DIY Food Clock

Like the DIY camouflage clock, this clock here is also done using the IKEA RUSCH wall clock. There is lesser work for this though. I used a paper with watermark-like tomato image for the face and the rest are stickers. The strawberry in the middle is on the second hand and hence, it's movable. The wordings are stick on the outside of the cover to give it a 'floating' effect.

IKEA Hack - DIY Camouflage Clock

This original clock was an all white with black numbers IKEA RUSCH wall clock. I removed all the parts and spray the body blue. I used a nylon camouflage cloth for the face and added neon dots for the hands so they will stand-out/glow in the dark. The numbers used were self-printed, cut-out and stick-on to the face of the clock.

Checkered Bows

I used the scrape cloth left after making these outfits to make some bows. I attached matching fabric buttons to the bows to make it looks like the bow on Hello Kitty. ;p The bows are used here as hairties and headband.

Mum & Daughter Matching Outfits

I shorten my dress to turn it into a top. I sewed a piece of black cloth cut-off from a unwanted t-shirt to the top. It made to looked like there's a shirt/tube worn with the low-cut top.

I used the remain cloth from the dress to made a dress from my daughter. I hand sew the dress with an elastic band to the top to make it expandable and also used the same cloth to made the sleeves.

Cupcake Finger Pin Cushion

Simple pin cushion done by assembling scrap cloth, fiber stuffing and a plastic bottle cap together. I glued lace outside the bottle cap to make it look like the pleated paper cup and added some beads to resemble the hundreds and thousands. I drilled 2 holes on the bottle cap and tied a elastic band at the bottom so I can use it as a ring.
